FUFA Women Super League side Makerere University WFC may not be with their head coach this coming season.
It is reported that the tactician has two hefty deals from two East African Women’s Football clubs.
The Kenyan champions Vihiga Queens are leading the race to sign Fred Ndawula and they offered him a big and tempting deal.
Vihiga Queens who won the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers in 2021, failed to win the same title this year after finishing in a disappointing fourth position and they want to change their coaching staff.
Rayon Sport WFC who were promoted to topflight league in Rwanda this season, are also interested in Ndawula whom they believe will scout good players from Uganda to go and play for their team as they target to play in the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers.
With a vast experience of 15 years in women’s football, Ndawula is regarded as one of the top coaches in women’s football in Uganda.
Ndawula has won two FUFA Women Elite League trophies with Makerere University Women FC.
He also guided She Mak to win the historical FUFA Women’s Cup in 2019.
Last season, he helped the club to finish fifth in the FUFA Women Super League.
In University games, Ndawula guided Makerere University to win the 2017 girl’s football title in Tanzania. In 2019, She Mak also won a silver medal in Kisubi in the same competition.
