The Pool Association of Uganda (PAU) will host the National League Awards on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo.
The event, set to start at 3:00pm, will celebrate standout performers from the 2024–2025 Nile Special National Pool Leagues and recognize Uganda’s Commonwealth Games medalists.
Rox Berry Pool Club and Mukono Pool Club will be crowned champions of the men’s and ladies’ leagues, respectively. Their players will lead the honors after impressive runs in a fiercely contested season.
Among the top individual winners, Ssejjemba Ibra will take home both the Top Scorer and MVP titles in the men’s division. In the ladies’ category, Mutesi Rashida (Top Scorer) and Kisakye Marion (MVP) will also be celebrated.
PAU will use the occasion to appreciate all league clubs and the seven regional associations, showing continued support for the sport’s development across the country.
A special highlight of the ceremony will be the recognition of Uganda’s Commonwealth Games pool medalists, a proud milestone for cue sports in the country.
Attendees will include:
• All 16 men’s and 7 ladies’ league clubs
• 10 players each from champion clubs Rox Berry and Mukono
• Members of the Pool Umpires Association and Supervisory Committee
• Delegates from the Albertine, Ankole, Greater Masaka, Gulu, Jinja, Kitgum, and Tooro regions
The awards will cap off a spirited season and offer a well-deserved moment of celebration for Uganda’s pool community.
