Uganda defeated Zambia in the quarterfinals of the Rugby Africa Men’s 7s, and will face South Africa in the semis.
The defending champions scored five tries past Zambia against three.

Pius Ogena opened the scoring, to take form of scoring in every game ongoing. Quick awareness saw Isaac Massa assist captain Ian Munyani out wide to score Uganda’s second.

Norbert Okeny, Philip Wokorach & Aaron Ofoywroth ran beautiful supporting lines, in the end setting up Adrian Kasito for a meat pie of his own.

Norbert Okeny closed out the half with Uganda’s fourth. He would go on to score Uganda’s lone try of the second half, as Zambia were breathing down Uganda’s neck, scoring three tries.
Uganda will now face South Africa in the semifinals, the latter having blown past Nigeria.
