With just a day to go for the Masaza cup final, the organizers have held a security meeting to guide the safety of Kansai Plascon painted Masaza Cup fans.
With high anticipation of massive turn up from Kyaggwe, Buddu, Kyadondo, Buwekula and other parts of Buganda, security organs are much aware of the difficulty of dealing with large crowds.
Assistant Supretendant of police and spokesman Kampala Metropolitan Luke Owoyesigire while addressing the media at Bulange on 31 October 2024 stated.
“We are very aware of the big day on 2 November 2024, Masaza cup final will take place at Mandela National Stadium Namboole, we expect a big crowd and we are prepared to deploy also on mass.”
He further continued by highlighting security and traffic guidelines of the day which will have counties show their colour brightness mighty (read Twaake).
“As it is a duty to assure the safety of people, on trafic will not allow people travelling using open vehicles, and on top of the cars. We will arrest anyone we will see participating in illegal activities.”
The security representative at the meeting also warned on gadgets which will not pass through security with team’s witch doctors are likely to be affected at their services with one of their equipements is among the items to fail on the pass in.
What the organisers said

“At Namboole you only need your ticket at hand to access the venue, those with no tickets I warn you that security will he present to deal with you. Gates are opening at 8:00am therefore I call the fans to come in time to avoid inconviniencies which may be caused by late rushing,” he said.
On Saturday Kyaggwe shall entertain Buddu in the final at 3:00 coming on follow of third place classfication game between Kyadondo and Buwekula at 11:00.
Both matches are on one ticket which goes for 20,000/=, 50,000/= and 100,000/= as the Kabaka of Buganda expected to make a suprise gracing of the event.
