SC Villa CEO William Nkemba was among the learners of the Football Administration and Management Course (FAMACO I) run by the Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) from Monday, September 4 to 6, 2023.
William Nkemba appreciated the organizers for a knowledgeable course which was atended by football administrators, coaches, referees, and fans from across the country.
“I really appreciate FUFA and UBSA for the opportunity given to us by sharing Football administration and management knowledge.”
“It has opened our eyes that, a game of football is also won off the pitch and this amazing course has helped me a lot to improve and I’m grateful to have attended this course.”
“I will have to further the levels of this course to develop the game of football in our country.” Happy Nkemba said.
Becky Cynthia Nakimera, a sports journalist with New Vision, also thanked the UBSA for opening their eyes on how to develop the game.
“I was interested in this course and it really expounds sports knowledge. When you study such a course, you get to know that you lacked a lot.”
“It gives you an oversight that will make you come back for another course to be knowledgeable about football administration and management.”
Nakimera was also impressed by football fans especially SC Villa fans who were part of the course.
“Some football fans were part of this educative course, I was really happy to see them learning football administration and management which will help them to know what to do as fans.”
“This will (in turn) decrease on hooliganism among the fans which will develop our game.” Nakimera concluded.
The Uganda Beach Soccer Association has had a busy past few days having held a successful General Assembly last week on Saturday.
