Forward Patrick Kakande, who was named man of the match, played a pivotal role in both goals, including Lutalo’s missed penalty.

Despite Villa’s dominance, they could have easily extended their lead, missing several scoring opportunities.

Nevertheless, the 2-0 victory was a significant boost for Villa, who are aiming to once again challenge for the championship title.

Busoga United Struggles Continue

Busoga United suffered their third away defeat in five matches, falling to Soltilo Bright Stars (3-2), NEC (5-0), and now Villa.

However, they have managed to secure two away victories against Arua Hill (1-0) and Gaddafi (1-0).

Coach Vincent Lukyamuzi remained optimistic despite the loss, stating, “We will try and see that we bounce back. We just need to rectify a few mistakes, and we will be good to go.”
