Amidst the tension between SC Villa fans fighting for leadership between last term leader Hajji Omar Ahmed Mandela and his rival Hajji Farouk Meywa, a fans group known as Team Bikolwa, led by Hajji Farouq Meywa, has rejected the allegations that the leader attended the last term of the SC Villa fans’ summit, where he spoke for two years without being re-elected.

At a press conference at Old Kampala, at the office Hajji Meywa said he set up as the SC Villa offices, various supporters said the extension of Mandela’s leadership was untrue.

Hajji Meywa said, “It is sad that we left the case of Engineer Ben Misagga handing over our team Lusaka Commodities. Now, Hajji has done the same to turn it into the Mandela Group of Companies. All the people on the list that extended Mandela’s leadership are full of employees.”

Sultan Hakim said, “It is unfortunate that Hajji cheated me to extend his term. We, as SC Villa fans, are not aware of it, and we do not agree with it.”

Hajjat Aisha Nassali said, “Surely people are not ashamed. First of all, he did not get the leadership in fact, and we dared to walk away, and the term expired, and he extended it? I knew these things were for non-sports politics!”

We are currently in the midst of chairing the SC Villa Supporters Supreme Council, led by the SC Villa Board of Trustees, to outline the election plans on Sunday, March 1, but Mandela’s extension of his term has come.
