2025 FUFA Super 8 | Final

  • SC Villa 2-0 NEC FC
  • URA FC 1-0 BUL FC

SC Villa began their season in style on Wednesday, beating NEC 2–0 to win the 2025 FUFA Super 8 title at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba.

The Jogoos controlled the game from the start, smothering NEC’s attack and winning key battles.

Their dominance paid off just before halftime when Ibrahim Kasinde drilled a fierce shot past goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo.

Villa stayed sharp after the break, with Najib Yiga forcing a fine save in the 72nd minute.

Reagan Mpande then sealed the win, flicking in David Owori’s free kick to ignite wild celebrations from the blue end.

The victory sets a confident tone for the record champions ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

NEC must regroup quickly as they face Nairobi Stars in a CAF Confederation Cup qualifier on Saturday.

Earlier, URA claimed third place after Moses Aliro’s first-half header gave them a 1–0 win over BUL.

Despite Nelson Ssenkatuka missing a penalty, the Tax Collectors’ defense held firm to secure bronze.
