The 2023/2024 Serie A National Volleyball League will toss off tomorrow, Saturday, September 30, at Old Kampala Arena with four teams in action.
The first game of the day will feature defending champions KCCA Women’s Volleyball Club taking on Sport-S Volleyball Club at 3:00 PM.
Sport-S is fresh off a loss in the Club Championships final to Ndejje Elites, but they will be looking to start the new league season on a bright note.
The second game of the day will start at 6:00 PM and will feature two teams that failed to make the playoffs last season.
Former champions Nemostars who are experiencing a hard time at the moment missed the playoffs for the first time since 2010 and will battle the KCCA Men‘s side.
On paper, this contest looks balanced, but KCCA will need to find a way to neutralize evergreen national team captain George Aporu.
Tickets to the games are 5000 Uganda shillings each.
