Uganda Cranes forward Shaban Muhammad has signed a two-year deal with Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia FC after leaving Libyan side Al Hilal Benghazi.

The 27-year-old arrived in Nairobi earlier this week and joined his new teammates in training on Tuesday.

His move ends weeks of speculation about a possible return to KCCA FC, one of his former Ugandan clubs.

Nicknamed “Jagason,” Shaban brings experience to the 21-time Kenyan champions, having previously played for Onduparaka FC, KCCA FC, Vipers SC, and Raja Casablanca. For the Uganda Cranes, he has 26 caps and three goals.

Gor Mahia, popularly known as K’Ogalo, plays its home matches at Nairobi City Stadium and has a rich history of signing top regional talent.

Shaban joins a list of Ugandans who have featured for the club, including Khalid Aucho, Dan Muzeyi Sserunkuma, Shafik Kagimu, and Innocent Wafula.
