Shawn Mubiru appointed FUFA Competitions Director

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has appointed Shawn Mubiru as its new Competitions Director, putting him in charge of organizing and overseeing football tournaments nationwide.

Mubiru, who previously served as SC Villa Chief Executive Officer and managed FUFA’s professional leagues, takes over from Hajati Aisha Nalule, now Member Relations Director. 

His appointment is part of FUFA’s new secretariat structure designed to improve governance, professionalism, and the overall delivery of football in Uganda.

Other key appointments include Mrs. Ampaire Sheba Ronah as Deputy CEO, Bakiika Samuel Mubiru as Head of Finance and Corporate Governance, and Ahmed Hussein as Director of Corporate Affairs. The new team will assume their roles on 1st April 2026.
