Following the closure of the January transfer window, She Corporate FC made a splash by securing the permanent signing of prolific striker Jesca Namanda from Rines SS WFC.
Namanda, who impressed during her double-licensed stint with She Corporate in the first half of the FUFA Women Elite League, returns to the Sharks on a permanent basis.
In the first round of the FUFA Women Elite League, Namanda led the goal scoring charts netting seventimes in six games for She Corporate FC.
The goal poacher joined Rines SS WFC during the second half of the 2022/23 season, netting seven goals and emerging as the club’s top scorer.
This acquisition adds to She Corporate’s recent signings, including goalkeeper Hadijah Nalongo, Saidat Kyazike and Letticia Nakyeyune. These strategic additions bolster the Sharks’ squad as they aim to secure top-flight promotion.
She Corporate currently leads their group, having achieved a perfect record of six wins in the first round.
Their next challenge is an away encounter against Tooro Queens on Sunday, marking the start of the second round of the FUFA Women Elite League.
