Before the end of the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers, 2021/22 FWSL champions She Corporate FC opened talks with Burundi champions Buja Queens for lethal striker Topister Situma to join them.
The 30-year-old striker has signed a one-year contract with Tanzanian side Fountain Gates Princess FC, ending speculation that she would join She Corporate FC in Uganda.
The goal poacher scored five goals for Buja Queens in the recently concluded CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers where she also helped the team to win the bronze medal after beating Vihiga Queens of Kenya.

She also helped Vihiga Queens win the 2021-2022 FKF Women’s Premier League title unbeaten and was the league’s top scorer after netting 17 goals.
Fountain Gates Princess FC are hoping that Situma can help them win the 2023/24 Serengeti Lite Women’s premier League title. The team finished third last season.
Situma is a prolific goalscorer with a wealth of experience. She has previously played for Rosengard (Sweden), Atletico Ouriense (Portugal), Simba Queens (Tanzania), Vihiga Queens (Kenya), and Buja Queens (Burundi).
