Uganda’s She Cranes now know the challenge ahead at the 2026 Commonwealth Games after organizers in Glasgow released the official netball draws and fixtures.
The Games, set for July 25 to August 2, will feature the world’s top 12 teams split into two pools.
Uganda, ranked seventh, lands in a demanding Pool B alongside heavyweights New Zealand (2) and Jamaica (3).
Pool A has Australia, England, South Africa, Malawi, Tonga and Northern Ireland.
Pool B,Uganda’s home includes New Zealand, Jamaica, Wales, Scotland and Trinidad & Tobago.
Every opponent is capable of pushing the She Cranes to their limits, meaning Uganda will need discipline and sharp execution from day one.
Uganda starts its campaign on Saturday, July 25, against Wales at 5:00 p.m. (EAT).
They face Trinidad & Tobago on July 26 before taking on the group giants, Jamaica on July 27 and New Zealand on July 28.
The She Cranes wrap up their pool games against hosts Scotland on July 30.

The She Cranes have steadily climbed at recent Commonwealth Games, finishing 6th in 2018 and improving to 5th in 2022. Glasgow now offers another chance to climb even higher.
