Uganda’s national netball team, the She Cranes, has dropped one place in the latest World Netball Rankings, slipping from sixth to seventh.

The decline follows their disappointing performance at the 2025 Netball Nations Cup in the UK, where they lost all group-stage matches against England, South Africa, and Malawi before securing a consolation win over Malawi to finish third.

Wales has leapfrogged Uganda into sixth place despite the She Cranes’ strong showing at the 2024 Netball Africa Cup, where they finished runners-up to South Africa’s SPAR Proteas in December.
