Ugandan netball continues to make its mark on the global stage and in 2026, two of the She Cranes’ standouts will carry the flag into Asia’s top competition.
Defender Faridah Kadondi and shooter Haniisha Muhammad have secured moves to Singapore’s Deloitte Netball Super League (NSL), a clear signal of the growing appetite for Ugandan talent abroad.
The duo will join their respective clubs from Round Two of the season, running from February 14 to March 29.
Kadondi has signed for Llabten, bringing with her the determination, versatility and composure that have become her trademark.
Comfortable at both goal defence (GD) and goal keeper (GK), she is known for her physical presence, sharp reading of the game and ability to organise the back line.
Her spell in Singapore adds to an expanding international résumé that already includes a stint with Nottingham Forest Netball Club in the United Kingdom.
At the other end of the court, Haniisha Muhammad will line up for Mannas. Capable of playing both goal shooter (GS) and goal keeper (GK), she offers tactical flexibility, strong aerial ability and calm finishing under pressure.

Her experience with Surrey Storm in the British Super League has sharpened her edge, and she now takes that pedigree into another demanding environment.
Their recruitment is part of a wider initiative by Netball Singapore, in partnership with Step Out 7, to introduce international players into the NSL from Round Two.
The programme aims to lift the league’s competitiveness while giving players valuable exposure across cultures and styles of play.
