Fresh from their 2025 Celtic Cup win, a rise in the World Netball rankings, and a secured spot at the 2027 Netball World Cup in Sydney, Uganda’s She Cranes are ready for their next challenge.
The team will travel to Lilongwe, Malawi, for the Africa Netball Cup, running from December 8–14.
While this year’s African Cup won’t affect Uganda’s World Cup qualification, it offers a key chance to fine tune combinations and build momentum ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Uganda enters as serious contenders, reflecting their recent international successes.
Placed in Pool A with Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, the She Cranes face tough opposition that will test their skill and team cohesion.
The squad includes new additions following strong performances in the Netball Super League.
Notable inclusions are Norah Lukuuse and Seera Zzamu, while Racheal Nanyonga returns after missing the Celtic Cup due to visa issues.
