Uganda netball national team, the She Cranes are set to shine at the 2024 Africa Netball Cup in Namibia’s Swakopmund municipality.
The championship officially throws off on the 9th December and will climax on 14th December with nine countries fighting for bragging rights.
Uganda, fresh from Fast 5 Series, will fight for the top prize with hosts Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
She Cranes has been polishing their skills at Nakivubo stadium and Lugogo Indoor Arena under the coaches Nelson Bogere and his assistant Nourredine Kato for over a week.
The Kansai Plascon powered team had their final build-up game with the male select side at Lugogo on Tuesday but, they lost 40-49.
“The team is ready to represent and come out on top. We have some new faces who have worked hard for the slots,” Bogere told Nnalubaale Sports.
