2026 Uganda Cup | R32 | Wednesday March 4

  • Six O’Clock FC 1-2 Kataka FC

Six O’Clock FC left it late but made it count, defeating Kataka 1-0 to complete the Round of 16 line-up of the 2025/26 Plascon co-sponsored Uganda Cup on Wednesday evening.

At Kizinda Playground in Bushenyi, Jacob Kamwesiga struck in the 85th minute to separate the sides and send the third division outfit through at the expense of the FUFA Big League side.

It was a tight contest decided by one moment of composure, as Six O’Clock held their nerve and finished strong.

Their victory confirmed all 16 teams for the next round, with the draw set for Thursday, 5th March 2026.

Holders Vipers SC headline the remaining contenders, alongside fellow Uganda Premier League sides Kampala Capital City Authority FC, SC Villa, Kitara FC, Uganda Revenue Authority SC, Express FC, NEC FC, Maroons FC and Lugazi FC.

From the FUFA Big League, Onduparaka FC, Bunyaruguru United FC and Iganga United FC remain in contention.

Fourth division side Happy Boyz Kagaba FC continue their fairytale run, while third division teams Tapo United FC, Red Devo FC and Six O’Clock keep lower-tier hopes alive.

The winner of the competition will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Sponsored by Stanbic Bank Uganda and Plascon Uganda, this year’s tournament has already produced drama.
