Soroti City Cricket Club will look to reclaim the league’s top spot on Saturday when they meet Pioneer Cricket Club in the National Women’s T20 League at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

The City side are currently third in the standings, two points behind leaders Olila High and one point behind Aziz Damani.

However, they have two games in hand on both teams, so a win against Pioneer would see them move to the top of the table.

Soroti City are the defending champions of the National Women’s T20 League, and they will be looking to regain their title this year. They have a strong team, led by the experienced Janet Mbabazi.

Pioneer Cricket Club are currently sixth in the standings, but they have a game in hand on most of the teams above them.

They will be looking to cause an upset against Soroti City and boost their chances of making the playoffs.

The other game in the women’s division on Saturday sees Jinja SS take on Tornado Bees at the Jinja Oval. Jinja SS are currently fourth in the standings, while Tornado Bees are bottom of the table.

This is a chance for Jinja SS to move up the table, while Tornado Bees will be looking to pick up their first win of the season.

The games will be streamed live on the Cricket Uganda Facebook page.
