Henry Ssenyondo set the tone as Uganda bounced back to beat Namibia A by seven wickets on Namibia Tour at the High Performance Oval in Windhoek on Thursday.

- Namibia A 137/7 in 20 Overs (Leicher Dylan 34, Taanyanda Junior 17; Henry Ssenyondo 3/21, Keneth Waiswa 2/22)
- Uganda 143/3 in 18 Overs (Riazat Ali Shah 46*, Gerald Olipa 39; Balt JC 2/26)
Uganda won by 7 wickets
After defeat in the opening game, Uganda needed a response and Henry Ssenyondo delivered it with the ball.
The left-arm spinner picked up 3 for 21, controlling the middle overs and breaking Namibia A’s momentum at key moments.
Namibia A started cautiously but lost wickets at regular intervals. Kenneth Waiswa struck early, but Ssenyondo’s spell did the real damage.

He removed Dylan Leicher and Zane Green just as they looked dangerous, then added a third to help restrict the hosts to 137 for 7.
Ssenyondo credited better understanding of conditions for the turnaround.
“The difference was the wicket. In the first game we didn’t know how it was playing. It’s different from back home, so we had to adjust,” he said.
Uganda’s chase was calm and controlled. Simon Ssesazi and Robinson Obuya fell early, but Gerald Olipa rebuilt with a steady 39.
Ali Shah Riazat then took charge with an unbeaten 46, while Anas Baig supported him with 19 not out as Uganda reached 143 for 3 in 18 overs.

The win was also the first for head coach Steve Tikolo in his second match since returning for a third stint.
Friday is a rest day, and action will resume on March 21 with another T20 match before two 50 Over matches on March 23 and March 25.
