- Wolves BC 0-7 St Lawrence
- St Lawrence 3-0 Grace Church
Beach Soccer powerhouse St Lawrence University won twice over the weekend to complete a Playoffs slot despite going through a bad season.
St Lawrence opened a day out at Bunjako Beach in Buwama with a dominant 7-0 win over Wolves Beach Soccer club before wrapping up the fourth position on the 11-team log with a 3-0 win over Grace Church on June 15.
From a low start to the season, St Lawrence started to gain momentum from matchday 13, winning on three consecutive outings where they featured in six games, picking 18 points that took them to 33 points.
The recent form was launched after not turning up for matchday twelve, but they have since raised their performance to secure a fourth position with two games remaining.
St Lawrence, the three-time consecutive league winners, joined Mutoola Beach Soccer Club, MUBs and Kampala City in this year’s playoffs after setting beyond the reach of MS Sand Lions who lost twice on Sunday.
The playoff to decide the league winner will come after the two remaining games of the regular season.
