Having secured a spot in the Round of 32 after a narrow 2-1 win over Tepa FC, Vipers will face an away match against Mbarara City.

The Kitende side’s progression came after a dramatic late winner by Livingstone Mulondo in a hard-fought encounter at the Aloysius Core PTC ground in Ngora.

This victory sets up an exciting encounter as they travel west to Mbarara, where Mbarara City awaits after edging Junior Eagles in a penalty shootout 5-3 following a goalless draw in normal time.

With both teams having progressed through tense encounters, the match between Vipers SC and Mbarara City is sure to be one of the most exciting in the round, as the defending champions look to advance further in the competition.

Another fixture to watch will be defending champions Kitara FC making the trip to Kampala to take on FUFA Kampala regional side, CATDA.

Kitara earned their spot in the Round of 32 with an emphatic 4-0 win over Young Simba at the Bombo Military Barracks, where they showcased their quality and determination to maintain their trophy.

On the other hand, CATDA defeated Mawokota United 3-0 at Buwama Community Ground to book their place in the next round.

This clash promises to be an exciting encounter, as the regional side will look to cause an upset against the reigning champions.

The long trip for Kitara FC may prove to be a challenge, but their dominant performance in the previous round will give them confidence as they face the Kampala-based side.
