Former UCU Lady Cardinals striker Ashiat Naluggwa has officially joined Lindsey Wilson College in America.
Naluggwa left the country on Monday night to America where she will continue with her academic career and soccer as well.
Last season, the lethal striker netted 10 goals in the FUFA Women Super League and was the leading scorer at her club.
She joins striker Sharon Nadunga who recently left UCU Lady Cardinals to join the same University.
Lindsey Wilson College is a private Christian college with a strong athletic program.
The Blue Raiders women’s soccer team were winners of the NAIA National Championship in 2020.
In recent years, several Ugandan players have moved to the US to further their careers, including Yudaya Nakayenze and Tracy Jones Akiror, who both played for Lindsey Wilson College.
