Surrey Storm have re-signed world-class shooter Peace Proscovia for the 2024 Netball Superleague season.

The United Kingdom outfit announced that fan favourite and She Cranes captain Peace Proscovia will be part of their squad next season, her third with the club.

“Having played two seasons for Storm there is no other place I would have asked to be at than Storm. I’m grateful for another opportunity to play for the side,” Peace noted.

Proscovia will be joined at Surrey Storm by fellow Ugandan Haniisha Muhammed, who is making her debut in the Netball Superleague this season.

Peace was the league’s leading shooter on 564 goals, which helped propel Storm into the top four in 2023 before she picked up an injury.

The previous year the Ugandan International was awarded the Gilbert Golden Shot award as the Top Goal scorer with 853 goals.

That same year she was named the starting Goal Shooter in the All-Star VII, as voted for by all the NSL clubs.

“We are incredibly excited to re-sign Peace. She is a world-class shooter who was formidable last season,” head coach Mikki Austin told the club’s website.

“We are thrilled that Peace will continue in our club colours, and we look forward to building on the inroads made as a team to progress further.”
