As Nara Promotions continues to promote the Uganda boxing industry, this time it brings you 10 fights in the sixth season of Sweet Science.

The fight, which will be held at Club Obligato on April 4, is designed for both veterans and beginners in Professional Boxing.

In the main fight, veteran Kenny Lukyamuzi Da Mexico will fight Sulaiman Musaalo KO Busungu in an eight-round fight of Middle Weight.

During the launch of the event, Da Mexico talked jokingly of his opponent, “When I was called and told that there is a challenger, I asked, ‘Who is that?’ But when they told me the name, I even laughed and asked myself, ‘What happened to this son?’ But I tell you to tell him that where he is coming from, things are not going to be easy. I have built this name for a long time,” he addressed his words to Musaalo, who could not be at the launch.

Other highlights include Nerick Tumusiime opening up his professional boxing career against Frank Ngoobi in a 4-round Super Welterweight bout.

Speaking to reporters, Tumusiime, a Senior 6 student at Kololo High School, said, “Although I am a candidate, I have to take this opportunity. I am determined to please the people of Uganda because I understand boxing. The fact is that both education and boxing are a part of me, and I am sure I am excelling at both.”

Other fights with big interest include Haruna Sematire taking on Amos Kelly in an 8-round Middle Weight fight, Rogers Ssenyondo taking on Bashire Kisubi in Welterweight, and other fights that will follow.
