The KIU Titans took charge of the city, sweeping the KCCA Panthers 2-0 and advanced to the semi-finals of the National Basketball League.
The Titans, down by 2 at the half, had a massive second half, outscoring the Panthers 51-36 to emerge 92-79 winners.
The Kansanga-based powerhouse needed a monster game from Joel Banza Lukoji, who netted 22 points, collected 5 boards and gave out three meatpies.


KIU Titans now wait for the winner between DMark Power and UCU Canons to be played this Wednesday.
“It has been a long marathon, but now we’re in the final four. We’re going to get back on the drawing board and make sure we’re ready for the semi-final and who we’ll face.”
In the other game, Our Savior basketball team overcame the Ndejje Angels to take the series 2-1 and advance to the semi-finals.

They will come up against the dominant City Oilers who swept past the Rockets with ease.
