Uganda Cranes midfielder Titus Ssematimba has taken the next step in his budding career, as he was unveiled at Kenya Premier League side Nairobi United on Wednesday, January 14.

Ssematimba, 23, has joined the NaiBois from Uganda Premier League side NEC FC, following in the footsteps of compatriot Mustafa Kizza who signed for the club earlier this month.

Despite his young age, Ssematimba brings a wealth of experience to the capital city club, having previously played for Wakiso Giants and Kitara FC in Uganda’s top division.

Set to don the #8 jersey, he is known for his skilful and creative play in the middle of the park – traits that will certainly prove vital in Nairobi United’s quest for success this season.

Ssematimba will be eager to leave his imprint as Nairobi United begin their maiden CAF Confederation Cup campaign, having previously featured in the competition with NEC FC in September 2025 — ironically knocked out by the same side he now represents in the preliminary round.
