In a highly anticipated match, Uganda Premier League leaders BUL FC will host third-placed Kitara FC on Sunday at the FUFA Technical centre, in Njeru at 3PM.
BUL FC, currently on 18 points, is eager to maintain their unbeaten home record despite suffering a 2-0 loss to UPDF in their previous outing.
Kitara FC, trailing BUL by just two points, is determined to close the gap and secure a victory. The two sides have faced off twice before, with BUL claiming four points from those encounters.

Kitara FC is aiming to redeem themselves after picking up just one point from their last two matches, including a 2-2 draw at URA in their last outing.
What the coaches and players said
BUL FC will be without the services of injured Pascal Ngobi and suspended captain George Kasonko. However, assistant coach James Magala remains confident in his team’s readiness.
“We have prepared well, both technically and tactically, and our players are mentally focused,” he stated. “We know Kitara is a tough opponent, but we are determined to win and maintain our lead.”

Striker Samuel Ssekamatte echoed Magala’s sentiment, promising to deliver a strong performance. “We have learned from our loss to UPDF and are ready to bounce back,” he declared.
“We have corrected our mistakes and are confident in our ability to secure victory. We urge our fans to come out in numbers and support us.”
Coach Brian Ssenyondo is optimistic about his team’s chances.
“We are happy with our players’ progress in training, their ambition is very strong and we want to see them transform this energy on the pitch tomorrow.”

“We are facing a good side but we are hungrier than them and also want to push and fight for everything in this game, “stated Ssenyondo.
BUL FC boasts a solid defense, having conceded just four goals, the second-fewest in the league. The Jinja based side have not yet conceded a goal at their home while Kitara has scored in every away fixture, scoring nine goals in the process.
