Tornado Bees Crowned Champions of Championship

Tornado Bees were crowned the kings of Championship on Sunday after comfortably beating Premier Cricket Club by 78 runs at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

The Bees set the target at 205, with Nicholas Keba knocking 84 not out.

Jonathan Sebanja (57) and Abdallah Lubega (33) also contributed to the total, while Sebanja picked up three wickets with the ball.

Premier were never in the hunt, and were bowled out for 127 with four balls to spare. Simon Okello and Raheel Sarwar each took two wickets for the Bees.

Sebanja was named the MVP of the division, after finishing with 21 wickets and 405 runs.

Attention now turns to the 50-Over format, which gets underway on 23rd July.
