In the Buganda Regional 3rd Division League, Simba/Uganda Wildlife Authority humiliated Nyendo FC with a 5-0 win as Kiboga United beat Manyangwa FC 2-0 to bounce back from a 7-0 loss to UG Sports Arena last Sunday.

On Wednesday, April 1 at Namulonge playground, host Simba FC became ruthless with Kenneth Ssebaduka, Sam Ssemugugu, Donald Ejoku, and Asiku scoring to help the Gorillas keep leader Buwambo United close.

The dominant win saw Simba FC register their first win in three weeks, having lost to UG Sports Arena, had a week to rest, and their game against Synergy FC was abandoned.

On the log, Buwambo is leading with 47 points, while Simba FC is second with 42 points and a game less, as they continue to focus on searching for opportunities to win promotion to the FUFA Big League.

Away from the promotion battle between Simba FC and Buwambo United, who beat Young Simba FC 1-0 on Tuesday, March 31st, in the relegation showpiece, Kiboga United recorded their 5th win of the season, beating Manyangwa FC, who lost their 10th game of this season.

Habib Mugume and Joseph Ssewali scored the goals in the game between teams under the red line, played at Kiboga Ssaza ground. With the win, Kiboga United remained 8 points away from the safe zone and also 6 points behind Manyangwa FC, who are edging the red line from the safe zone.

In other games, Kira United defeated Kajjansi United 1-0, Nantabulirwa drew 2-2 with Masaka City, Wobulenzi United were held by Synergy FC, while UG Sports Arena and Seeta United did not play their game.
