U14 Futsal Leagues: 149 Goals scored as First Round climaxes

On Friday 26th May 2023, the first round of both U14 Girls and Boys Futsal leagues ended.

Kampala Junior Team, Michezo Kids and Azteks Soccer Academy (girls), finished the first round of U14 Futsal Leagues top of the log in their respective groups.

In the Girls category, Azteks fought hard to win their two games on Friday, winning 2-1 over KJT and 1-0 against Habonomu.

The Kidde coached side finished the first round with excellent performance, winning all their six games played in the first round to top the log with 18 points, 6 more than second placed Habanomu.

The boys league is categorised into two groups. In group A of Boy’s League, KJT defeated Junub Academy 3-1 to finish on top of the table at the end of the first round.

After six games played in the group, KJT are the table leaders with 15 points, only two above Junub who sit second.

Edgar’s Youth Program is third with four points while Soccer For Life sits at the botom of the table with only three points to show.

After a win and a draw in their two games on Friday, Michezo topped group B with 11 points in six games.

They first came from behind to beat Edgar’s Futsal Club 2-1 before drawing 3-3 with Henry’s Soccer Academy.

The group B leaders Michezo, will go into the second round with 11 points in six games, four ahead of Edgar’s Futsal Club and Henry’s Soccer Academy, who are both tied on seven.

The Second round of the U14 Futsal Leagues will kick off between August and September this year, during school holidays.
