2026 Uganda Cup | Round of 64 | Monday February 9,
- Football Classroom FC 3-1 Calvary FC
WhatsApp Outfit, Football Classroom’s Uganda Cup dream rolled on in unforgettable fashion on Monday evening as the non-league side stunned Uganda Premier League outfit Calvary 3–1 at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo to reach the Round of 32.
Facing more fancied opposition, Football Classroom played with belief and composure. The opening moments were tense and controversial.
Habib Oloya went down in the box under a challenge, but the referee waved play on. Calvary punished that moment soon after, Ibrahim Dada calmly slotting past Dennis Mugerwa to give the Yumbe-based side the lead.
The setback did little to shake Football Classroom. They stayed patient and were rewarded five minutes before the break when Steven Yiga was fouled in the area.
This time the referee pointed to the spot, and Oloya kept his nerve, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to level the tie.
The second half belonged to the underdogs. Just four minutes after the restart, Moses Sseruyide bent a stunning free kick into the net to turn the game around.
Calvary barely had time to respond before Football Classroom struck again. Near the hour mark, Yiga capped a tireless performance with a low, precise finish to make it 3–1.
Calvary pushed late for a way back, but Football Classroom defended with discipline and heart to see out a famous win.
