2026 Uganda Cup | R32 | Wednesday February 25
- SC Villa Vs BUL FC – FUFA Stadium, Kadiba
- Onduparaka FC Vs Football Classroom FC – Greenlight Stadium
The floodlights at FUFA Kadiba will illuminate a familiar rivalry on Wednesday as nine-time champions SC Villa host 2022 winners BUL FC in the Plascon co-sponsored Uganda Cup round of 32.
For Villa, this competition stirs deep memories. The Jogoos last lifted the trophy in 2015 when they edged KCCA FC in a tense final at Mandela National Stadium.
Since then, the cup has slipped from their grasp, but the desire to reclaim it remains strong.
They had to dig deep to get here, edging Pallisa Hospital 2-1 in the previous round. BUL’s path was far more emphatic.
The Eastern Giants thrashed Agape United 7-0, with Karim Ndugwa scoring four and Seiri Arigumaho adding three, a warning to the rest of the field.

Recent meetings add spice to the tie. BUL claimed a 2-1 league win at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, while Villa answered back by eliminating them in the FUFA Super 8. This time, the reward is a place in the last 16.
Villa will be without Charles Lwanga and Simon Ssemayange through injury, and goalkeeper Brady Jeans Wokorach is suspended after his red card against Pallisa Hospital.
BUL are also sweating over fitness issues, with Martin Aprem ruled out and Walter Ochora and Nicholas Mwere doubtful.
On the bench, BUL hold a clear advantage. Head coach Alex Isabirye Musongola is the most successful manager in the competition’s history, having won four Uganda Cup titles with URA, Victor University, BUL and Vipers. His experience could be decisive under the Kadiba lights.
In Arua, non-league side Football Classroom face 2016 finalists Onduparaka FC, hoping to extend their fairytale run.
Dubbed the “WhatsApp group side,” Football Classroom have built their campaign on belief.
They have beaten Kayda Sports Club, Red Ants, Hearts Lukuuli, Wembley and stunned Uganda Premier League side Calvary 3-1 in the round of 64.
Guided by Felix Ssekabuuza, Davis Nnono and Muwanguzi Joel, they continue to defy expectations.
They will rely on Amuli Mukasa, Steven Yiga and Moses Sseruyide against an Onduparaka side chasing a return to former glory.
The Caterpillars, now 13th in the FUFA Big League, still remember their 2016 final defeat to Vipers SC at Nakivubo Stadium.
