The Uganda Handball Federation has shared important details regarding the upcoming 2025 Handball Champions League.
This includes the competition format, the list of qualified teams, the official playing schedule, and the venue.
The tournament will be played in a single-elimination format, based on the 2024 league rankings for both men and women, with Match Day 1 on March 1, 2025. Team 1 will face Team 4, and Team 2 will battle Team 3.
Match Day 2, tentatively scheduled for March 2, 2025, will feature classification matches (both men and women) between the losers of Match 1 and Match 2.
The finals will then see the winners of the semifinals (both men and women) compete for the bragging rights of Uganda Handball at Old Kampala Arena.
Concerned teams were asked to review the schedule, confirm their availability, and submit any inquiries to Carl Augustine Mugalu, the General Secretary, no later than Sunday, February 23, 2025.
“Your timely confirmation will enable the organizing committee to put everything in place for proper tournament organization,” Mugalu asserted.
