The Uganda Handball Federation (UHF) served its members a notice of the 2024 Annual General Congress that is scheduled for Saturday 24th February, 2024.
However, to be part of the Congress, one must have confirmed their attendance before 31st January, which is Wednesday next week.
The expected members at the AGM are; council members, three Association representatives, and three delegates per club to get a quorum.
“Names of the above-mentioned delegates should be sent to secretariat through email (uhandball@gmail.com) or physically at the federation offices,” Carl Augustine Mugalu Secretary General noted.
Members were further requested to update their registration as per the current Constitution (Article 5 sections: 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7).
The notice also emphasised that any amendments to the constitution should be sent through the federation email or dropped physically to the federation office not later than 31st January 2024.
The Agenda of the meeting will be opened by a prayer, followed by confirmation of quorum before the president’s communication.
The executive report will be tabled next before the approval of the minutes of the previous Congress.
This will be followed by a constitution review process, the treasurer’s report, and a statement of Accounts/Auditors’ report before appointing auditors and then a closing prayer to call it a day.
