Event : The National Handball Select Showdown

In an act to bring together handball fans, players and enthusiasts from across the country for an unforgettable evening of skill, teamwork and passion.
Uganda Handball Community is set to support home based Handball stars and celebrate their sport’s journey in our nation by hosting an electrifying Exhibition Game dubbed “The National Handball Select Showdown”.
The exhibition game is scheduled to be played on Saturday 11th January 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Old Kampala Arena.
This highly anticipated event aims to rekindle enthusiasm for handball among the youth, particularly the boy child by offering a platform to showcase talent, inspire participation and foster a renewed passion for the sport.
Two teams, “The Kings” and “The Leopards,” have been carefully selected by coaches from the 2024 National Handball league’s top teams. Each squad boasts 14 talented players and a dedicated coaching staff.
The Kings will be led by Coach Hassan while Coach Odora will take charge of The Leopards.
