Defending champions Uganda Martyrs University will be looking to maintain their perfect start to the University Football League when they host Kabale University on Friday.
The Saints beat University of Kisubi 2-1 away from home last week, while Kabale University were thrashed by Bugema University 6-0 in their second game.
Uganda Martyrs currently top Group A and have a chance to extend their winning run and make it to the knockout stage.
However, Kabale coach Farouk Nsubuga believes his side has learned from their humiliation at the hands of Bugema.
“We are coming back stronger,” Nsubuga stated. “We have rested mentally and physically to be ready for this game and we have improved in the areas we were below par from the last game.
“Uganda Martyrs seems to have the speed and if I may say when you play against the Saints you need to close the highway, and that’s what we have prepared to do,” added Nsubuga.
Kabale will rely on the services of Muzoora Alleluyah, who has been one of their key players in the midfield.
