The FUFA Women Super League will continue on Saturday, November 11th with two matches on matchday four at 10:00AM.
Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC will host pointless Asubo Ladies FC at St. Gerald’s Playground, while Wakiso Hill will visit winless UCU Lady Cardinals at UCU Mukono.
Uganda Martyrs will be looking to secure their third consecutive win this season, which would move them to the top of the table.
Their opponents, Asubo Ladies, are seeking to register their first points of the season. Asubo have lost all three of their opening games, conceding 12 goals, while Uganda Martyrs have won two and lost one.
Last season, Asubo won this fixture 3-1, and they will be looking to repeat the same history on Saturday.
However, despite missing key players Kevin Nakacwa, goalkeeper Sharon Kaidu, and Rebecca Nandhego, Uganda Martyrs remain favorites to win the game against a side that is also missing their best players, striker Kamiyat Naigaga and defender Desire Katiisi Natoro, who are both with the U20 Women’s National Team in Senegal.
In Mukono, UCU Lady Cardinals will face Wakiso Hill for the first time ever in topflight football. The hosts have lost two and drawn once in their opening three games, while Wakiso Hill have won once, drawn once, and lost once.
UCU have yet to score a goal this season, while Wakiso Hill edged Asubo Ladies 3-1 to register their first league victory.
The game between Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and She Makerere has been postponed due to the number of Kawempe players on the U20 Uganda Women’s Football National Team. The game will now be played on Wednesday, November 22nd.
