The Uganda Prisons Queens are running smoothly at the East African Netball Club Championship 2025 with two wins in two games.
Prisons registered a resounding 79-24 victory over Tanzania’s Magereza at the New Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar on Wednesday, May 14th.
This came in the wake of a 55-39 triumph over Jeshi Stars on Tuesday in their opening game of the championship.
Prisons started the bang immediately from the first quarter, setting the tone with a 19-3 scoreline.
Prisons extended the lead to 42-9 after the second quarter and drove the game beyond to 60-16 in the third Quarter.
Moving into the final quarter, Prisons was already in control to go on and seal the game with 79-24 win.
Speaking in the post-match chat, Head Coach Nouredine Hassan Kati praised the team’s focus: “We executed our strategy from start to finish. Every player contributed, and our depth was evident today.”

Still with Uganda’s representatives at the championship, KCCA and NIC also registered formidable results.
In Group A, KCCA delivered a jaw-dropping 90-19 demolition of Zanzibar’s Zimamoto on Tuesday, following their 65-26 rout of JKU Sports Club on Monday. The result cements KCCA’s status as a top contender.
