Uganda is ready to host the 15th East African Community (EAC) Inter-Parliamentary Games, set for December 5–17, 2025, with all member states confirming full participation.

The confirmation followed a three-day Joint Planning Committee (JPC) meeting in Kampala, where Uganda’s preparations received a unanimous thumbs-up.

Held under the theme “One region, one community: advancing integration through parliaments and sports,” the games will strengthen regional cooperation and celebrate East Africa’s unity through sport.

During a press briefing on Monday, November 3, 2025, Local Organising Committee chairperson Hon. Asuman Basalirwa said Uganda is ready in every aspect.

“Venue inspections are complete, and our medical partnerships are in place to ensure participant welfare throughout the tournament,” he said.

Medical support will be provided by Kampala Hospital, Nakasero Hospital, Aga Khan Hospital, International Hospital Kampala (IHK), and Mulago National Referral Hospital, with Nsambya and other facilities also on standby.

Fixtures will be released soon, and entry to all games will be free to encourage fans to turn out and celebrate the spirit of regional unity.

Officials called on Ugandans to extend their trademark warmth and hospitality as they welcome visitors from across East Africa.
