Uganda She Gladiators enter camp ahead of Kabaddi Women’s World Cup in Bangladesh

Uganda Kabaddi women’s national team, the She Gladiators, has entered into a residential camp to gear up preparations for the World Cup, which is due to happen between 15-20 November 2025 in Bangladesh.

A number of 13 players under coach John Nsibambi Ephraim Mukubuya started the preparations for the biggest event on Friday, May 31, at Matugga Ridge Way.

Via information from the Uganda Kabaddi Federation, the team will continue preparations up to November 13 before departing for Bangladesh.

Being the second edition of the Women’s World Cup, Uganda is going for the first time after qualifying by dominating the African continent, winning the Africa Women Kabaddi Cup.

With Uganda leading African women’s Kabaddi and 6th in the whole world, the anticipation is high for the Gladiators to pull off top performances at the event despite being underprivileged in their preparations.
