So far, 11 countries have confirmed their participation, with the registration deadline set for October 15. The confirmed nations include: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Ghana, South Africa, Namibia, Congo, Rwanda, and host Uganda.
The championship, scheduled for November 17-22, 2025, will feature both team and individual events. Each participating country will field a team of four players, with an additional two players allowed for individual events. The matches are set to take place at three key venues: Kampala Club, Kabira Country Club, and Pearl of Africa Court.
USRA General Secretary Shifa Nantambi urged Ugandans to support the association in making the event a success, stating, “We are bringing the best of African squash, and I believe Ugandans will enjoy the games.” USRA President John Bosco Tamwesigire also announced a total prize fund of $15,000, which will be distributed among the top players.
