Ugandan volleyball champions Nemostars have jetted out to Misrata, Libya, to face off with the best on the continent at the African Volleyball Club Championship.
This will be their eighth appearance at the annual elite continental tournament, and they hope to reach the medal bracket this time around.
The Ugandan side finished in eighth place at their last Africa Club Championships, which was held in Tunisia back in 2021.

Nemostars were seen off with words of encouragement and inspiration from National Council of Sports Senior Sports Officer Sarah Anne Nankya at Lugogo yesterday.
They will play their first game on Good Friday, April 18th, 2025, and will compete for top honours until the 30th of this month.
Captain George Aporu will lead a team of ten as they fight to fly the Pearl of Africa flag high in Libya.
