Ugandan Netball Star Ruth Meeme to Analyze Netball World Cup Games for Supersport

Ruth Meeme, a star player for the Ugandan netball team, the She Cranes, has been appointed as an analyst for the Netball World Cup games by Supersport.

Meeme is currently out injured but recovering for the past one year, following a successful surgery on her knee.

Meeme has represented Uganda in various global events before, including the World Cup and the Commonwealth games.

In 2011, she represented Uganda as a wing attacker in the All-Africa Games as the She Cranes claimed gold.

She was also a pillar in Uganda’s team in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, before making the squad for the 2019 African Netball Championship.

The sleek mid-court has played at two World Cup tournaments, including the 2015 and 2019 editions.

Meeme’s appointment as an analyst for the Netball World Cup is a testament to her knowledge and experience of the game.

It is worth recalling she also did commentary and analysis at the 2022 East Afrcian Club championship alongside Abel Kitaka.

She is sure to provide insightful commentary and analysis during the tournament, which will be held in South Africa from July 28 to August 6, 2023.
