Ugandan Schools Head to Morocco for ISF World Schools Football Championship

The three Ugandan representatives in the ISF World Schools Football Championship have been flagged off to Rabat in Morocco.

The flag-off ceremony was held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the National Council of Sports headquarters in Lugogo, Kampala.

The reigning champions of East African Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA), Kibuli SS, Amus College, and St. Noa, were invited to participate in the tournament.

 

The delegation of 85 people includes 53 students and 22 officials.

The tournament will be played between July 22 and 31, 2023, and the teams will return to Uganda on August 1, 2023.

This is the first time that Uganda will be participating in the ISF World Schools Football Championship.

The tournament is a prestigious event that brings together the best school football teams from around the world.
