Uganda’s sole representative in the ladies’ event, Rukia Naiga, made history at the 2025 Queens International Double Life Pool tournament.
The Ugandan female number one seed and multiple national champion claimed the top spot to take home the overall prize in Zimbabwe over the weekend.
In the men’s category, Uganda sent three players: Chandiga Ceasar, Ssejjemba Ibra, and Lukomwa Azali, all national team players.

However, Chandiga was the only one to reach the money brackets (top 8). He then narrowly lost to the overall winner, Aden Joseph from South Africa, 8-7 in the semifinals of his second life.
The prestigious tournament, showcasing top talent from across Africa, had three categories, with the Masters accolade staying at home with veteran Lindani Gumpo.
