Crested Cranes striker Sandra Nabweteme made her full debut for her new club Kdz. Ereğli Belediye Spor in Turkey on Sunday, but it was a disappointing start as her side lost 1-0 to Trabzonspor.

Nabweteme’s Kdz. Ereğli Belediye Spor dominated the game and created several chances, but they were unable to find the back of the net.

The Ugandan striker, who was wearing the number 15 shirt, created more than three clear chances, but they were all poorly executed.

The loss leaves Kdz. Ereğli Belediye Spor in 12th place in the Turkish Women’s Football Super League table after matchday one.

They will be looking to get their first points of the season when they host bottom side Atasehir Bld Women at home on September 2nd.

Nabweteme joined Kdz. Ereğli Belediye Spor at the start of last week on a one-year contract with the option of an extension.

She is expected to be a key player for the club this season as they look to improve on their prformance from last year.
