All is set for the umpires and coordinators workshop of the Pool Association of Uganda from all corners of the country.
Led by the Association tournament director Kalibala Ismail Nkata, 20 umpires, and 40 district coordinators will undergo a refresher workshop.
This is in line with having the best officiating standards at the Nile Special National Open Pool Championship qualifiers which are just a week away.
They will start on 24th June 2023 across the country, a process that is expected to go on for months.
The umpires workshop is going to take place at Victoria Kireka where coordinators and umpires will sit exams even.
Mr Kalibala and Robert Kayanja who is the Project Manager are going to be the main lecturers of the day.
Both oral and practicals will be conducted to make sure the umpires’ game is up to speed ahead of the big tournament.
Briefings from the Chairman and the sponsor will also be part of the event and this will be the third activity of the event after following the launch and surveying.
After this particular activity, the host venues and dates will be released for public consumption.
