Kampala University (KU) continued their winning run after they defeated new entrants ISBAT 3-0 in Luzira in the University Football League on Saturday.

They now extended their lead in Group F to nine points.

Their coach Vincent Tumusiime revealed that it was a collective effort to achieve that.

“We worked together to achieve this. The players followed our instructions. We need to improve our striking force since we tend to rush yet we have to be calm in the final third. The coaching staff, players, fans plus administration contributed to this. We still struggle in one-on-one situations but we shall improve,” noted Tumusiime.

Benjamin Nsubuga, Raymond Kiwewa and Emmanuel Wabomba were on target for KU.

However, ISBAT University coach Edwin Oundo revealed that his side still has a lot to learn.

“We lost but I have trust in my boys. We are still learning. We just have to learn how to take away the chances we create. We are a young team and we are playing teams that are experienced. It was unfortunate that most of the players picked injuries but they had given their best,” noted Oundo.
